IV Vanco/ IV Zyvox....

Thanks for the replies. He did get Red Man Syndrome last time and we used Benadryl in the beginning. Then he was fine as long as it ran for about 3 hours. This time we started out with the 3 hour infusion and he did fine. But 5 days into it and even Benadryl isn't working. He is a red, itchy, feverish mess....So frustrating! Hopefully Zyvox works better.he has no problems with oral Zyvox. He's also done Clindamycin orally...But orals don't cut it sometimes...
