iv's

im on oxacillian right now only.
and havent been hospitalized for over a year and i only stayed in for 4 days this time.
yeah exactly ive thought about the port idea but im not sure if i really could use one or not since im really rarely sick.
but its a definate possibility.
also im the same way picc lines are way difficult to do as well the last time they tried it twice and then even again under i think a special xray thing and couldnt get it in.

I always get stuck about 4 times prior to them finding a vein for a regular IV. Yes I'm on the old school IV at first when I get admitted cause the next morning they use it IV push to sedate me for the PICC placement, which was ALWAYS a terribly tramatic experience for me (I base this on only one or two really bad experiences with the PICC itself, but I go into full panic attack mode and my veins clamp down if they try it without sedation).
