Joanna has a baby sister

So we're in for a sweat test on 21 - just in case - Zuzanna's irt came normal. I got a phone that we have her genetic test ready and it seems she is a carrier of one mutation R533X - so they want her for a sweat test - just in case. at least that is the news by phone.
So i'm more at eas <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
Wish us luck on 21'st.

It's so wonderful to see them together.

So glad the IRT was normal~ was Zuzanna tested for both mutations? If she was and didn't come back with the 3849+10kbC>T, she should be in the clear and just be a carrier. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

So happy to hear that Joanna is doing so well with her baby sister!! <img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">

That's what I meant - she was tested for both mutations only and only one came out. I got this through phone - so it's not official...but I know the nurse I talked to <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
So she is a healthy carrier <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
But - in this situation - we are for a sweat test - just in case. My Husband and I were testesd only for the muatations Joanna has so in order to make sure Zuzanna has no cf - she will have a sweat test - we are both healthy with my husband - but this is "just in case" and I'm glad it's made. I'll be then 100% sure.
I guess there will be some emotions - but I know what to expect - and I know the people I'll be talking too <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
In this case - they proved to be superb - esspecially the nurse that called me nad made sure the irt test was done quickly. I guess I'll have to get some chocolates for the staff <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
