Hey, I tried to find the information you were talking about but didn't have any luck. Do you remember a little more about where I can find it? THey are telling him it could be upwards of a month before they can get him in at Madigan, which I think is complete cr*p. THere has to be a wa around it.

I'll keep searching around, but if they think this is cancer, they are SERIOUSLY risking his life by making him wait an extended period of time. Do you know what doctor he is seeing now? Is it someone at the Everett Branch Medical Clinic or is it somewhere else? Hum, it didn't work.... Here's what it sayd,

As a TRICARE Prime member, you are guaranteed an appointment within the following time and distance standards:

The wait time for an urgent care appointment shall not exceed 24 hours.
The wait time for a routine appointment shall not exceed one week.
The wait time for a specialty care appointment or wellness visit shall not exceed four weeks (28 days).
Additionally, under normal circumstances, your travel time should not exceed 30 minutes from your home to your PCM's office for primary care, and you should not have to travel more than one hour from your home for referred specialty care.

Awesome!!! THanks, does surgery count as specialty care?? If it does then the part about travel time would qualify for sure.

Julie....Actually I would remove it altogether because when I played I could do it without the http, but now with it! Doesnt matter I guess, you repeated the info for her!

Thanks Melissa, I sent her an email but it still didn't take. I think it's because it's a government website, the link at the top in the bar NEVER changes regardless of where you navigate on that site.

Froggy, I just went to www.triwest.com (you might have to do https://www.triwest.com) and typed in "wait times" in the search engine. Then I opened the "tricare prime patient handbook" and fumed through it.
