Ok so I know pollen is out like crazy. I was having serious issues with pollen about a week and a half ago and then it was ok. Over the past few days it's gotten worse again. Although now I'm not so sure it's just allergies. I feel it all in my head though, the ony strange thing is that I have a cough this time around. Nothing juicey, but an annoying cough. I do have a problem I moved back to FL, dragged my feet on making a primary doctor's appt to get a referral and it took me a month to get a doctor's appt. I have yet to go, I will go later this week or next week I can't remember the exact date. Then I have to wait 24-48 hours after that appt to call insurance to get an auth. number and then call the CF clinic and get an appt. With that said, do you guys know of anything I could do outside of vesting and nebbing to help me out between now and the time I get to the doctor.

Ugh...I suffer from bad allergies too, so I feel your pain. I would try an over the counter allergy med like zyrtec or claritin. Allegra is really the best for us CFers since it has the least drying effect...but you might need something to hold you over until you can get to the doc and get a prescription. Also if you think you a developing a cough maybe try mucinex (expectorant not the cough suppressant), I've found this to be pretty helpful when I feel I am starting to develop a cold. Definitely do lots of sinus rinses to clear out all the gunk up there before it can move into you lungs and get rid of the pollen you are breathing in. Hope this helps a little bit!

I've been on zyrtec for so long I'm not sure it's as effective as it used to be. I've been taking an over the counter allergy medicine too to help me along. Thanks for your reply!
