My boyfriend was diagnosed this year (at 35!). He started having bronchitis in his late 20. No digestive problems. He is doing pretty well (FEV in the 90ies).
There are some people on the forum that have been diagnosed even later.

welcome, there are others here from Ireland, not sure of their dx age, but also others from all over ( I'm from Scotland), with late dxs. My son was from birth.
