Yes, sorry to hear that you may be off-line for a while...ever consider finding a used computer? That's something that has become popular in Japan, refurbished computers. Just enough to get what you need for home use, and internet connecton. Just a suggestion, considering I can understand you have to save and cut costs here-and-there.
