until Brian's surgery to remove his kidney and the huge tumor that's taking it over. On the one hand I'm nervous, on the other I can't wait to get this behind us. His mom is coming on Tuesday. I'm so glad she is able to come and help. It was hard enough trying to get 4 days off for this, there was no way I was getting 2 weeks. The other day all the stress just got to me and I had a little melt down, I felt much better afterward though. Sometimes a girl just has to have a good cry. I'll have the lap top with me so I can keep you guys posted. Thanks in advance for all the good thoughts and prayers that I know yu guys will send our way.

Hi- Best Best Wishes to you Brian! And to you Frog Princess (sorry, I don't know your name) And his Mom. I'll be thinking of you.

If you can't original poster I understand, but if someone who knows-could you fill me in on Brian? How long has he had the kidney tumor? Do they think it's CF related?

At least you're getting this over soon. Keep letting it out if you have to. We all do need a cry. Sometimes several.

Hi Jesse

I hope all goes well with Brian. His story reminds me of my dad, about 20 years ago he had his kidney removed. The doctors thought that he had cancer, his kindey looked a mess. They removed it and it showed no cancer, just not functional. They were never really sure what caused this. He has lived with one kidney for the last 20 years with no difficulties. I hope that Brian is as lucky as my dad. Keep your thoughts possitive, I was just a kid when my dad had this done but I remember how scary it was. Keep us updated.

My Godmother had a kidney removed before I was even born. She lived at least 35 years with one kidney until she died of Cancer 2 years ago. She had 6 kids along the way & was always very heavy with her weight!
