Let's Vent about Home Health

My husband doesn't use home health but I work at a clinical lab where we perform testing for quite a few agencies. I sometimes really worry about their patients! We get a lot of calls from home care RNs asking about really basic tube types, like what a CBC or BMP is drawn in. They are also much more likely than inpatient or clinic nurses to be clueless when I call them with test results, even criticals. A little scary! I always have the same home infusion service and the same nurse. She lives nearby so she will call me on my cell while i am at work and let me know what time she will be in the area and i make sure to be there. She works with my schedule not against it. She actually hired me to clean for her before a big party ( I do housekeeping). Usually after i am done with my iv, i will give her all my leftover supplies so she will have extras in her car. She seems to always have a spare of whatever the co. forgets to send.
I didnt know that some companies were so bad though....geeeeeezzzzz
