Levaquin and Cipro

Hasn't that been listed as a side effect for a long time? I guess they are switching it from the normal "hey, this is a potential side effect" to yelling it on the side of the bottle.

Does anyone stop working out while on these drugs? I've always wondered if I should.

ya.... it's been on the PI since the drugs came to market....

FDA is under a lot of scrutiny right now for safety.....

guess what happens when the FDA pendulum swings too far towards safety? it takes longer for drugs to come to market, drug prices go up, and less drugs are approved.

the pendulum needs to stay nice and steady in the middle. if it swings too far, CFers are harmed.

black box warning does nothing other than highlight, as stated by kristen.

I bet 75% of us are on SSRI's like Paxil, Zoloft, Lexapro, etc. Black box warning there for suicide for teenagers & children.

no drug is safe and without side effects. even water can kill you if you drink too much of it.......
