If I may be so rude as to hi-jack your thread, I wanted to ask Ferris if she has seen any studies on if there is any reason why someone with blood clots/clotting disorders should not use the Fizzy NAC?

Dr. Moss at Stanford is pretty quick at responding to emails, though. You can definitely ask him.

i know Astellas pharma sells NAC as a prescription in contental Europe (namely Austria and Europe).

Have you ever asked your doc for an Rx?

If worse comes to worse, you can get a prescription of Mucomyst (NAC for nebulization)and drink it. I'm not sure it works as well as fizzy NAC, but I know some CFer's do that here in the States.
