Dear all,
As I am sure you all know, I have been waiting for a life-saving double lung transplant now for 12 months. What you may not know is that whilst 90% of the population support organ donation, only 22% are on the organ donor register, and every year 400 people die waiting for a transplant.
With time running out for me, and having lost many friends on the waiting list, I am determined to do all I can to change these statistics. On the 2nd March my friend Emma Harris and I launched our new campaign; www.livelifethengivelife.co.uk. We have designed Tshirts to raise awareness and encourage people to think and talk about their wishes.
Please take a minute to look at the website, and pass the link on to everyone you know. Wearing a T-shirt will raise awareness and ultimately save lives; for every one person that registers as a donor, that is potentially 6 lives saved.
