LIVER PROBLEMS AND CF

Liver failure is absolutely part of M's CF care. We have been told he will likely require a liver transplant long before he would need to consider lung transplants. The best they can tell us right now is that his enzymes haven't gotten worse over the last 2 years. Well, that and for some crazy reason they haven't attempted to treat the liver issues in that time frame. Seems the medications all gave him diarrhea which the fostermom refused to handle so they quit giving the meds.
