Lo Detrich got the call for lungs

I got an email early this morning that Lo was in surgery last night for her new lungs.... Great news for her and family.

Wonderful news! I just ordered her book a couple of weeks ago and have yet to start reading it. Saying a prayer for her. L

What a coincidence - I almost went to the book store and got that yesterday while I was at the mall - after my son's doctor appointment. Then got side tracked. Sending prayers That has to be a happy, scared & very emotional time for her and family!!

Yeah! I didn't know she was in need of new lungs. When Zoe was diagnosed last April, we moved to Fl. in July for her medical care. I got in touch with the local CFF office to get involved and also to get some much needed emotional support. Claudia, the ex. director came over and spent many hours with me, just talking. She helped me alot and still does. She gave me the book "The Spririt of Lo" to read. I cried many times reading that book. The beginning feelings that her parents share were exactly how we were feeling. It is a terrific book, they are an amazing family. My prayers and thoughts go out to Lo and her family. Please do keep us posted.
