We lived in Minnesota for 4 years, and although the girls were never really sick, it's just a hard place to live where weather was concerned. When it's 30 below 0, it is hard for anyone to breathe, let alone someone with CF. So we made the decision to move to south Texas (not solely because of the girls, but that is one reason). We moved to the McAllen area where it's summer pretty much all year round. We loved the weather, but in the first year my daughter had 5 sinus surgeries (not a single sinus problem before moving). So, we got the heck out of there. We are now in west Texas (desert area, very dry, much like AZ) and haven't had any problems yet (knock on wood.. we've only been here for 3 months). It's still mild temperatures, just without the humidity.

Note to add: Chris has had severe sinus complications his whole life living in Houston, TX. He basically had one or more polypectomy surgeries per year for the majority of his life... his latest tally is 28 separate polypectomies. We are hoping that the arid climate of AZ will reduce his sinus complications. Perhaps just wishful thinking, but worth a try.
