Longest time on iv's

The longest I was on IVs was 7 weeks. I did 4 weeks on one triple cocktail, then 3 weeks on another. In the end I never felt better and settled into what I thought was a new "baseline" for a whole year. I kinda felt the docs gave up, but seeing as the IVs weren't working at the time, it's probably good I was off them anyway, to reduce other bodily damage. I've since increased my "baseline" a smidge, this is 2.5 years later and I feel much better. I've also been on several quicker rounds (15-28 days) of IVs since then that have actually worked. The only bug I've ever cultured is PA.

Since nearly 2 years...sometimes with a stop of 3-4 days, but thats no real break...

3 weeks. This is because I always had a antibiotics that my Pseudo was supposed to react to. At first it always did, later it didn't. But I always was on Tobra IV's and my doctor's have always said I couldn't have that for longer then 3 weeks and always had to stop it for at least 3 weeks inbetween if that was possible...

The longest I have ever been on is 3 weeks and I just ended that a week ago. I think maybe one other time I did 3 weeks, maybe. I didnt know that they would put you on them for longer then 3 weeks at a time.
