Looking For CF Pt. Please help

Hi, to every one who sees this. My name is John Dombrowski and growing up I had a very good friend who had CF. Due to my family being Military and then later on Myself becoming a soldier, I have lost touch with him. Furthermore, it didn't help that he was always going from State to state to get treatments in different hospitals. So, for the past 20 years I have been trying to find my friend. His name is Jimmy Cobb, ( James) and I can't remember if his middle name was Robert or Lee. We grew up together in Augusta, Georgia. He spent a lot of time at a CF project in Florida and also at the Children's Hospital in Atlanta. He would be about 35 or 36 today and I know it's a long shot and that I'm looking for a needle in a haystack but this is very important to me and I am willing to go the distance to find him no matter the outcome. The CF clinics he attended were in Jacksonville Florida and the one at the Childrens hospital in Atlanta. He would have attended them between 1988 and 1995. If you have been there or even think you may know him please let me know

Also may be helpful to know that he was originally from Missoula, Montana his mothers name is Joanna or Joanne Kholey (sp)

I know I have been on here a lot looking for this person. I just don't know where else to look or who else to turn to. This will be my last post concerning this topic since it is not really CF related. Anyhow, I thank any of you who have helped or can help

I wanted to let you know that I did ask around town about your friend when you posted this before a few months ago. Unfortunately no one knew of him for certain.

The local CFF Chapter was not aware of him - or anyone by that name. My docs office was also not aware of anyone by that name. I am in North Florida - Jacksonville to be more specific. I am sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good Luck finding your friend.

thank you so much, I've all but given up hope. but then again, this is sort of hoping against hope. I just wish I could remember more about where he did his hopital visits or even more about him other than our childhood memories.

His mother doesn't live in the same area. not to mention it has been over 15 years since I seen him. My hopes are dwindleing cosnidering he probably wouldn't be able to afford a lung x-plant and was in pretty bad shape as it was at 20 years old. He would be about 36 or 37 now.
