Looking like you have CF

I just had a revelation.....

It's easy to spot a CFer at tx clinic. I would always point them out to my husband when we would go to clinic and sometimes I would go up and strike up a conversation. I never thought I looked like a CFer, but recently I've had people come up to me asking if I have it. I just saw a video of me in Charleston a couple of weeks ago and I realized.. I LOOK LIKE I HAVE CF. Isn't it funny how we view ourselves? I was in denial so long before tx, and even after tx, I think I still had some denial. There is no denying it now... I HAVE CF AND I LOOK LIKE I DO!

I don't think I look like I have CF at ALL.

I'm 5'5", 130 lbs, boobs/hips, no finger clubbing, etc. Don't get me wrong, I SOUND like I have CF I just don't look like it.

I sometimes hate it when even my dr's say "oh but you look so good." That's all great but ANYONE could look like that with their hair & make up done. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Looking a certain way doesn't indicate the way one feels.

It's so funny b/c no matter how hard I work out, etc. I don't ever have the typical CF body which I don't think I'd mind, due to being a smaller size. Vain I know but I think the small frame, low weight bodies are so cute!!

I know I am skinny and small but I think I look "normal", just petite. But I have had a few people ask me if I have CF. So I am not really sure. Edited: I do have the barrel chest - people are amazed when I them them my prom dress was a 10 and my latest bridesmaid dress was a 12!!!! And the pot belly, I hate bikini season!!!

And I have the voice, I used to get asked a trillion questions when I waitressed - if I was sick, really a man, all that cr*p, only by drunks though!!!
