looking young

It happens to me too. When I was in high school everyone thought that I was older than I was and now everyone thinks that I am young. I am constantly told that I don't look old enough to be a lawyer! So, part of me likes the looking young thing. But professionally I think that it can be a liability.

I get it too. It does bother me sometimes. When DH and I are walking around the mall, we will get dirty looks from old ppl. He looks his age, 26...however, I looked 17 or younger....I'm 25. When ppl point it out to me, I always ask "how old do you think I am?" I like to see there answers. When I was 20, I was driving a golfcart for someone....I over heard the person say "She should be able to get her driver's license with no problem." I hit the breaks and looked at them...pointing out that I already drive...lol. I also get the "one day you will apprecate it". So I try to remind myself, when all my friends are in their late 30s, and look like they are in their early 40s, I can take comfort in knowing I still look like I'm in my late 20s.
