looking young

AnD post reminded me of something. I think my youthful age bothers my sisters more.

At least one of them. They are older then me to begin with & then when you add my youthful look it adds years there.

There have been a few time that people have thought 2 of my 3 sisters were my Mom.

I think it is a CF thing. Having gone to CF camps and retreats, there are so many of us that look young for our age. I get funny looks when I'm in the hospital. Most people that don't know me when they walk into the room do a double take because they are looking for an old lady. I would say now I look like I'm in my early 20's, but I still get some people that think I'm a teenager! Until they have a conversation with me, then they think I'm a very mature teenager. And when I'm out with the twins most people think I'm the nanny.

I find it amusing and frankly I love it. It doesn't bother me at all, and it never did. I think it bothers my sisters though. One is 1 year older, the other is 4 years younger. But when we go out together and I meet their friends, they all think I'm the youngest.

The Nun stopped in & asked how old I was, I told her 30 & you could see her take a sigh of relief, the color come back in her face. I dont know how old she thought I was, but obviously not even close to my age!

When was pregnant (almost 30) and some lady accused me of being a pregnant teenager. The look she gave me could have killed.

My husband gets horrible looks (robbing the cradle kind of thing). I am actually older than him. My little sister keeps telling me I should enjoy it (NO THANKS). They think she is the older sister (we are 8 1/2 years apart in age). I have gotten 16 years old all the way to 20's.

I try to dress older so that people will think I am older (doesn't work).
