Losing Hair

Have you been sick or have you had a high fever recently?

Several years ago when I had the flu, I had high fevers (104-105) for over a week. A month or so later, after I was all better, my hair started falling out. It was from the shock to my body. Still, I didn't lose enough to be real noticeable, even with my baby fine hair, and it grew back.

Now that I'm remembering, my mother's father was pretty bald, and so is my mother's mother for that matter. They seem to have all the bad genes. My mother and her mother are both handicapped, and her father passed from cancer. But everyone on my father's side are healthy as ox's. Guess I got the bad luck of the draw.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">

Well my parents both have very good healthy hair as did I up until about 6months ago. I'm suprised it's not noticible the amount I've lost but someone said the stress of an event MONTHS ago can have a lasting side effect which manifests months later. I had a transplant 18months ago and that combined with my meds was one possible suggestion...
