Losing my mind...

I swear I am going to have my head examined!!!!

Yesterday, I received a call from her clinic and she has tested clear of psuedo for the 2nd month now--hurray! But...

...I have always thought that Kaylee's mutations were D508 and R117H-7T. I don't know WHERE I ever got that idea! I asked what her mutations were. They are D508 and Y122X! Then I look up in a past thread and find out that I found this out in 2006! What has happened to my mind???????

So my question is this--how do I find out more about this gene variation?

I don't know anything about Y122X, but as a DDF508 CFer myself, I have to say I'm jealous because everything I've read about PCT124 is awesome for the nonsense mutations. Good luck!

Amy,

Why just the genes that end with an x. Are the rest of us not going to benefit from this new med?
Scott reads up on this ....but I guess I didn't realize it was just for the x genes.

Love ya,
