James, I agree. I had more than a few visits from Dr. Wohl during my time at Childrens. She always cared how you were doing not only CF wise but overall. She contributed a great deal to CF care over her years.

Dr. Wohl was the attending doctor when my boys were so sick with mycobacteria. She scared the sh*t out of the boys because she was so direct and intimidating, but in the long run we know she made the right decisions. We know the boys made it through that rough time because of her.

Jane, I agree she could be very intimidating at times but in the end she was that way because she wanted to be sure we were doing everything we could to get well(and didn't take excuses for not doing what was needed).
