I just got an email from my nurse and here is what she had to say

<b>One of our adult CF patients passed away yesterday (Teena Nelson, 26 years old.) Her services are at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Mallory Funeral Home in Spiro, OK Her fiancee called today and asked if I would let everyone in our CF family know and ask if anyone would be willing to help with donations to help cover funeral expenses. At this time they are $2,400 short.

There is a special account set up at Simmon's First National Bank PO Box 7082 Ft. Smith, AR 72906 Teena Marie Nelson Special Account #10546958.

If you are in a position to help financially, I know it will be greatly appreciated. If not, please keep the family in your prayers.

I third that...this disease sucks! I am sooo sorry for families and whatnot whenever I hear of anyone passing. We have such a bond, even if we didnt really know each other...CF is just like that I guess....<img src="i/expressions/brokenheart.gif" border="0">
