I am so very happy for you. Honestly I was worried about you because I know just how sick you can be from it.. As long as you are on the Prednisone you should be okay....
I am hopeful your endocrinologist will know exactly what to do with you, I do have a suggestion from experience, when and if he switches you to corteff, hydrocorteff or whatever, don't just stop the prednisone, slowly wean off of it as you add the other, that has worked really well for me.. You will for sure know if you are not getting enough steroids because you will be light headed, dizzy, you can have stomach and leg pains, low blood pressure, and low blood sugar, you will be really tired, and very forgetfulr,
My friends can tell now when I don't have enough steroids because I never remember what they say, I am cranky and confused... Ha
Please keep me updated.. I think this is a good topic because so many ppl are on steroids and sometimes the adrenal glands do not kick back in after coming off of them.. which can be life threatening...
