Low magnesium & Iron

my symptoms are: tachycardia, increased asthma and insomnia. The biggest clue for me is the tachycardia though - that one always shows up first.

Another note - always take magnesium and calcium together. They help eachother out.

This is so much more important than I knew. I just got out after 5 days in hospital because my potassium, magnesium, and calcium were all at critical levels.

And, like Caroline said, each plays off the other so, if one is low it can definately affect the others.

Chronic illness have a tendency to cause people to deplete their iron stores. Check with your doctor first, but you can take over the counter iron, it is usually 325mg. Just make sure you take it with food and also take a laxative like colace with it.
I take 400mg of magnesium 2x a day and 325mg of iron 3x a day.
