How many people get lung transplants annually in the US versus how many are awaiting lungs? I recall reading this number. Anyone remember or know the answer. I want to include the stat in my Great Strides letter. Thanks for your help!

I second that Unos.org has on their main page the number of people transplanted in January of 2008. If you search around the site you can find more information about the past few years - not sure about last year but I know you can find info about like 1999 - 2006 ish range cause I was just looking on there for something the other day.
