I still use the small stage 1 baby food bananas -- the Gerber ones are plastic squares and have lids. For times when DS falls asleep before I give him his last meds of the night. I put a capsule on a spoonful of bananas and follow it with a water chaser.

We still use the baby food applesauce too. The ones that come in the plastic container with a lid. Sometimes the cashier will ask how old my baby is. When I say 4 they usually give me a funny look <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Brandon is only 2 months old so he can't quit eat one of those but I am sure his sister who loves applesauce will love that idea. I didn't know I could use baby food, I guess I thought it had to be acidic and I didn't think bananas were, crazy! The clinic told me applesauce, it never even occured to me to use baby applesauce either.

I used babyfood bananas -- still do -- I just call it banana sauce and don't let DS see the packaging. For some reason as a baby he didn't like applesauce but liked babyfood pears and peaches and sometimes the orange pineapple.
