MDI vs. Nebulizer

I was in Pulm Rehab for a while and they told me
that the MDI,s Albut inhalers were more effective than a Neb if used correctly.
They gave me a new "MAX Aero Chamber ", I use it and It does make the inhalers
work better than they did before, But for me, I would not say it works
better than a Nice Neb.

Wow-thanks for the advice...I guess I will be sticking to the neb unless we are very short on time!

Thanks Again! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I am 50/50 depending on the moment. In the heat of the moment an inhaler works GREAT. But for routine stuff I find that the neb works better and I cough more.

Is there a reason he isn't doing his treatments while he is doing the vest? I do my albuteral while I'm doing my vest to cut time off. Now I myself can't do hypertonic while on the vest b/c I cough to much.

I'm all about the nebs...I rarely do MDIs cause they don't force me to take MULTIPLE deep breaths. Have you ever looked into a faster compressor, like a 50 psi one? That cut my treatment time down by 50% at least.
