My fiance, who has CF, and I are getting married in a few months and we are trying to cover all are bases concerning insurance coverage. She currently has medicare as primary, and her father's private insurance as secondary. It works great now because her father's insurance will pick up whatever medicare doesn't. Once we get married though she will pick up my insurance as primary and medicare as secondary, and unfortunately my insurance is not as good as her father's. So we could look at some signaficant out of pocket expenses! I'm just curious if anybody in this situation was able to buy any supplemental insurance such as medigap. We've tried to call medicare but it's like they talk a different language and they send you on a wild goose chase. Thanks for any advice!
