Hello!
OK, so I know there was recently a post regarding Medicare and Tricare and what they covered and in which order, but I'm kinda asking a seperate question here and asking for elaboration on the other responses.
First, I have BCBS insurance (I pay a hefty premium per month but will NOT get rid of it in case we every leave the military) and Tricare Prime.
I also will have Medicare within the next couple of years on top of the other two insurances (I am truly blessed to have such good coverage).
I am curious the order these insurances will go in when I submit things? Currently, I MUST submit everything to my BCBS and then Tricare kicks in the remainder.
How will this work when I have all 3?
Also, when I meet my $1,000,000.00 max from BCBS (which may happen within the next few years), then which order do medicare and tricare follow?
Finally, I know there was discussion regarding medicare requiring you go into the hospital for a full course of IV antibiotics.... So, is there any way to opt out of THAT particular thing or would I be opting out of medicare entirely? Or, would Tricare "trump" medicare and allow that I have home health? I know BCBS and Tricare both allow home health, but not sure how this would factor in once I have medicare, who says a big fat "no" to home health.
Thanks for any info. you can give.
