Uli, Can I ask where you live in Germany? I have relatives that live in Marne. North of Hamburg. I do not have a CF diagnois. So I do not know about the cost of medicines. Some people are getting their meds from Canada over the internet because it is less expensive than the U.S. But I do not know about meds for CF. I have alot of the symptoms of CF with a FEV1 of 30%. But have not been tested for CF other than 2 sweat tests 20 years ago. I am 40 years old.

Hi Uli, Meds are really expensive here. My daughters don't use Creon but they use Pancrease MT16. If I remember correctly you don't have that there in Germany. We used to live in Germany, on the German - Dutch border. Well maybe I should say that they don't have that medicine in the Netherlands because that is where they went to clinic. In Maastricht at the academic hospital. Anyway. Here at a pharmacy like Eckerds a bottle of one hundred capsules of Pancrease MT16 cost $164.96 (that is what I paid two Christmas' ago when we ran out while visiting my parents). The best way so far to get your meds for the least money is the CFF pharmacy which is mail order. It is the cystic fibrosis foundation pharmacy. Everything needs a prescription. I didn't think you had to pay for your medicine in Germany. Maybe I am confusing the NL with Germany but I thought both countries have the same kind of medical program. You can look at prices of all the medicine that the CFF pharmacy has by logging onto their site, it is www.cff.org It is all still expensive but less expensive than any regular pharmacy that I know of. Hope you find what you are looking for. Liza
