Mental Health professionals in Pittsburgh?

Hey, everyone. I am finding that it is very beneficial to have a mental health counselor to deal w/ all of the issues that go along w/ being sick. I have a home health mental nurse that has been counseling me for the past several months & she is terrific. In that time, I've also sought to transition to a more permanent counselor (b/c of the limited amt home health is allowed by insur.). Does anyone know of an adult mental health professional that specializes in chronic illness in the Pittsburgh, PA area? I have been to a few prof. counselors but really think that someone who works w/ serious or chronic illness is necessary at this point.

Please let me know if you know of anyone who has been helpful to you and what sort of counselor they are (psych, nurse pract, etc.)

Responses much appreciated.

Do you go to the UPMC Clinic? If so, ask Connie, Carolyn or Diane - they will be able to point you in the right direction.
