Migraines

I get migraines here and there also. I used to get them very often like a few times a week but luckily that stopped.
I had never goten an aura with them in the past, but one day i started seeing this light in my eyes and wherever the light was in my eyes i had a blind spot. Then it kept getting bigger and bigger till it got out of my sight region. I thought something was seriously wrong with my eyes after this happened a few times, and went to the eye Dr. He told me to take notice if i get a very bad headache afterwards because it sounds like an aura to a migraine. Sure enough next time it happened i got the headache afterwards, so i knew thats what it was. I take 2 tylenol and try my darndest to sleep it off, but there have been some rare times where i would throw up ( boy does your head pound after that ). Coughing is pure torture with a migraine because the throbbing pain almost becomes unbearable.

I get them. I go through periods where I'll have maybe 6-8 in a couple weeks time, then might go several weeks without one.

When I feel one about to start I take Tylenol and drink a caffeinated soda (I can't take Excedrin anymore, because of the aspirin, but that's what I used to take). If that doesn't help I'll end up taking Imitrex. Sometimes that doesn't even help, but usually if I take it soon enough it does.
