Read some of my posts about Josh. His presentation is considered
mild and was diagnosed after discovering nasal polyps. I don't know
if symptoms automatically get worse. I read that the teen years are
a time of deteriorating lung function, I suspect because of
hormones and rapid growth. From what I understand from his CF team
let untreated more lung and nasal damage will occur. I have no idea
how bad it will get but my chest feels congested everyday and that
is not a good feeling.<br>

Hope that helps you and doesn't scare you.

As I wrote in another thread like this.
It alway progresses. It always goes
mild>moderate>severe>"end stage"> death
ALWAYS
The only difference is the speed of the progression.
And the speed can increase over night for rasons that are totally outside of anyone's control. And sometimes folks can even get to "end stage" and then have the progression go to a crawl.
My take is you'll make yourself crazy thinking about it all this way.
Whoever wrote "live each day like it is your last - and the first of many more" had the ticket I think.
