Hello All!

I was wondering if there is anyone on here who is married to the military that has CF. I am a new Air Force spouse who is trying to find her way around Tri-Care, get more information about Exceptional Family Member plans, and military life with CF. It would be great to talk to someone about this. Thanks!!

I was AD in the Navy for 6 years and my ex husband has CF. I also assisted with the EFMP in the Everett WA area so I'm pretty familiar with the system. Please feel free to email or PM me services@dafcf.org

My husband is in the AF & our daughter (9 yrs old) has CF. We have dealt with Tricare & are very familiar with the EFMP programs in the AF. We have moved 3 times since her diagnosis, so are familiar with the areas, etc. Email me at skje@comcast.net anytime!

How has the EFMP affected your moving to areas? That is the one thing I am most concerned about. I originally was seen at Denver Colorado Childrens hospital and the most recent cf center I have been seen at does not seem as comprehensive of care. What have you been finding?

I have been seen at Chapel Hill since we PCS'd to this duty station. I sent you in the PM where we are headed next and I'm interested to see how they do things in Tulane. Chapel Hill was my first adult clinic and it was a good experience.
