everyone is too sweet!!!

yes i am breastfeeding for those that asked. everything is going well. we went to the lactation nurse yesterday and she dropped to 5 lbs. 10 oz. since we left the hospital. i fed her while we were there and she got 2.5 oz. in five minutes of feeding her, so the nurse said that was a great amount since she was born a little early.

my boobs still kinda hurt, but hopefully that will go away soon. she is latching on the right way, but it still kinda hurts.

i feel like a skeleton since i haven't been this little in nine months. i will definitely have to get on some ensure or boost (high calorie stuff) i feel like i'm in the kitchen all day looking for something to eat <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

congrats on your new little one-enjoy every minute, even the exhausting ones. hold her close and cuddle up and breathe in that newborn smell-it goes away sooo fast!!! oh, there is no perfume or smell in the world as sweet.

ps-don't worry about your breasts hurting, I know it kills. but it will go away soon. one thing that helped me was these cool packs by gerber that i got at shoprite. it was a good 2 weeks for me. i just grit my teeth through feedings for the first week. but its so worth it-hang in there!
