I had salty cravings, but I often do anyway. Interesting thought though. Nice to hear from you Jessica! How is Jaelyn?

I also did not crave salt but I did have an extremly hard time gaining any weight, in fact I was losing weight. I had gestational diabetes and was on a strict diet/insulin and they were actually upping the amount of food I was eating to so much that I couldn't finmish and thought I was going to explode and I still wouldn't gain weight. Big difference from my first (no cf) daughter who I gained 60lbs with lol. Yet my second daughter with cf was 9lbs9oz when she was born. Strange!

Same with me samb- I had to eat HEAPS but still didn't gain any weight (I think I stayed exactly the same weight for the last 2 months of my pregnancy). Everything was going to my baby girl with CF! She was average weight when she was born & very healthy.

The only thing I can remember craving was meat, I had to have protein with every meal or otherwise I would feel faint & shakey.

I had severe morning (all day!) sickness with my oldest and lost 16 pounds the first trimester and gained weight pretty slowly after. I lost some weight with the other two as well (about 10 pounds) and as with the first, did not gain a whole lot, so never delivered at any more than about 12-15 pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight. Despite that all my kids were healthy weight- coming in at 7.5, 8 & 8.5lbs. I had friends that were so envious of my not gaining a lot of weight during pregnancy but I would have taken the weight gain over that awful morning sickness!!
