Oh my gosh... I am LOVING that link. I'm now using that for everyone who asks me a question that they could have just googled!

Disclaimer: I realize that questions on this forum are often asked for a more personal response, totally understand that. Just trying to express how hilarious I found that link, with no offense to anyone who asks questions.</end quote></div>
I admit I found that link kind of funny too! However- I agree with the Lindsay & Jeana here in that many/most of the posts here looking for info are looking for personal experiences &/or reassurance as well as what they could search out for themselves.

Another thought when it comes to the googling, too... some people are much more experienced than others in searching & researching and many of us can really benefit from what they can bring to the boards here. It can be much more than entering a search term in the box- it's knowing what to click on and how to decipher what you read- not all of us can do this equally.

This can be due to any number of reasons. It can be time constraints prohibiting us from spending a great deal of time learning how to research well and decipher the medspeak needed to understand much of what's out there, lack of experience, being new to CF or just being overwhelmed with the sheer number of results that come back and not even knowing where to start when it comes to getting back a reputable, accurate answer to a question. JMO... what came to mind when seeing the link (in addition to that little bit of a laugh!)

Jeana- I'm so glad that Chris is doing so much better already! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I recently cultured mrsa at my clinic visit in may. I knew my stepson and husband had the sores and was taking all the precautions, but i still got it ,not on the skin of course but in the lung. It's very aggravating because healthy people don't realize that things their body can handle can shorten our lives . The stepson doesn't live with us but is here a lot and has had mrsa for 2 yrs and i didn't know it . I knew he was taking antibiodics a lot but thought he had regular staff. And he is a plumber so i just figured he kept aggravating it with the job .I caught it from the stepson because my husband didn't get it till july. And the doc said that a mrsa sore does the same thing as a brown recluse spider bite does. (eats the tissue out) And if let go without treatment does look very nasty and runny.
