Well, today I heard a bunch of schools in KY closed for cleaning due to MRSA.

Is it just me or are people really getting freaked out over nothing. I mean I know MRSA is bad, but I have a feeling its like this everyear and the media has just now decided to report it.

I went off on my husband last night about this (he just happened to be on the receiving end....didnt do anything to deserve it)

I told him CF patients have been dealing with this along with Cancer & whoever else, but now that its in the "general population" its news worthy!

It's like anything else, the news is blowing is WAY OUT OF PROPORTION. They always effing do. I hate a lot of the news in this country. So annoying.

Overhere it's on the news when a ward has to be closed because of MRSA.. I think this is because it really is not common here. Also in CF patients.
In clinic they have a sign saying that you have to tell when you have been on pigs farms and maybe someting else too.. i'm not sure. As it is fairly common in farms because of the wide use in antibiotics. I think you will be put in isolation when you have been there.
Overhere MRSA is still being concidered not common i think. And i would only be very happy when everyone would 'over react' so there will be done something when there's an outbreak somewhere.

I forgot to say that i can understand that you are annoyed when it is so much on the news now it's in the 'real world' and not only when it were the 'sick people' who had to deal with it.

This just isn't right.
