Holly cultered MRSA & had IV abx for it---then the sputum culture came back clear & just this last hospitalization she cultured it again but she is already on IV abx through her PICC line so we will see. She had a major decrease in lung function at the time she cultered MRSA though & it has been downhill since---not to scare anyone---each case is different.
