Mucinex nasal spray

Has anyone tried this stuff? I know a lot of people use the Mucinex tabs but I saw this stuff yesterday when I was picking up my prescription and decided to try it. The label says not to use it for more than 3 consecutive days. I was wondering if anyone has used it and if they used it for longer periods of time.

I used it last night before I went to bed and I like it so far. My nose is runny, but all the gunk is coming out finally haha!!! I don't respond to any of the prescription nasal sprays so I thought I would try this stuff and I can never get anything out when I blow my nose. Now I can!!! Yay.

Thanks!!!

I don't have CF, but tend to have sinus issues. Ended up with a head cold/sinus infection a few weeks ago and I usually use Afrin (OTC nasal decongestant) for a few days, as well as an expectorant (robutussin) and saline nasal washes. I saw the mucinex commercial and wondered what it had in it, but when I checked the ingredients for the nasal spray, it appeared to have the same stuff in it as afrin.

Nasal sprays can become addicting and can cause a rebound affect, so that's why they advise only using it a few days, which is usually what I've done if nothing else seems to help.
