I have no idea what taking it as pill would do to you, but I don't think it would target your lungs as well as the neb

Here is my experience with mucomysts. I stopped it long time ago because it made me cough all day and i didnt like that. I also felt that it increased my sputum production though i dunno how can this happen. My doc also suspected that its not of much help in cf so he allowed me to drop it. I felt the same or even better afterwards and my exacerbations didnt increase.
