I hate to ask but I love that I can get answers.  So this morning for the first time I noticed so much mucus in my Stool. I was diagnosed at a late age 50 and I am 55 .Is it because i need to take more enzymes? Thanks everyone for education about CF.

I would mention it to you doc. Especially if you have other symptoms (abd pain, blood in stool etc.).

I've had problems with this in the past before...and in my experience...

It is usually a 'mucus build up' in the system...it may require a course of antibiotic treatment.
Whether it be oral Ciprofloxcin or I.V. antibiotics. Meropenem clears up the mucus issue in my bowels.

Though everyone is different.

Hope you find something that works for you <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
