I'm actually taking it for two reasons. I have been taking it to help conceive but this month I also managed to ring in New Year's Day with a lousy head cold so I hope it helps. This is/was my first month trying Mucinex to conceive. I was taking Robitussin for about 3 months but decided maybe Mucinex would be better. I think with the cold Mucinex will do better too. So far my chest is uneffected. I hope it stays that way. I usually don't have any problems fighting off colds without antibiotics. Wish me luck!!!
