DS was on tamiflu as a preventative -- the year the flu vaccine didn't cover a certain strain of Influenza A. Once when a child in his preschool had influenza A and another time when a colleague showed up at my office and my spouses for meetings with influenza. So DS' doctor put both of us on it, with instructions to give it to him should we come down with symptoms. No adverse affects. In fact we already have some in our drug cabinet along with instructions for DS just in case.
