My doctor who treats my CF

Hi it is me the long lost energy gal- Rise'

Long time no see. Busy as ever with <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://transplantbuddies.com">http://transplantbuddies.com</a> and my new social network on transplant friends.

Just had to share for those who would love to have a doctor and hospital staff to treat you like you are very special.

Did you know that Cleveland Clinic in Weston Florida has a doctor who treats Cystic Fibrosis. Dr. Anas Hadeh is awesome.

Whenever I have an appointment, I wait one minute to see the doctor. Most of the doctors at Cleveland Clinic have short waiting times. This is a hospital that ROCKs all places. I can really appreciate everyone there.

Just curious,

Does your CF clinic run a blood test for your vitamin D levels? If so, what is your vitamin D blood level and what dosage of D do you take daily. My test came back at 68 but I need to take 20,000 units of Daily in order to have this result.

Here is a bit of info regarding lung transplant patients and low vitamin D levels.

I remember quite a few years ago JennifersHope from this website mentioned the importance of vitamin D and lung health.

Check it out and ask your doctor if you can have a vitamin D test.
