It has been over 10 years since I did IV antibiotics in the hospital, I usually do them 100% at home. But this time I decided I need the extra care and help, at least to get started.

I will be going in tomorrow and probably staying through Monday. It has been so long that I have no idea what to take with me... any advice?

TIA!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Tons of snacks and drinks! When I had Amelia I was in for 4 days and when they finally let me eat it was pretty gross and they didn't feed me often enough. Good luck, I hope you feel better.

Bring really comfy pjs and a pillow that's nice and comforting to make you feel as "at home" as possible. Also, I like to bring a little something that makes me feel like myself - my favorite body wash so I can still smell like I do at home, or a couple of nice headbands to wear during the day. It's not that I'm vain...but little touches that make you feel a little less sick and a little more "you" are always a good idea. Hope your stay goes well!
