My nose keeps bleeding

Its mostly dry blood but sometimes when i blow my nose there will also be fresh blood (ive never had a typical nose bleed thankfully where ill have blood dripping everywhere-if u know what i mean)

My nose is also red inside (could it be inflammation)

The only solution i seem to have is vaseline, when i put vaseline in my nose the bleeding stops but as soon as i stop putting vaseline the bleeding start all over again, i really dont know what to do anymore and dont want to have to keep resorting to vaseline because i heard the vaseline could travel down into your lungs and cause lipoid pneumonia

But unfortunately its my only option because my doctors seems to think my nose bleeeding is 'no big deal' and doesnt precribe me anything for it

Please help me im so frustrated!

My son gets nosebleeds-his doctor told us to put some neosporin in there with a Q-tip-followed by saline nose spray (ours is a little white bottle with an orange cap-called something ocean-I can't remember the exact name). He said that was the one to use. Good luck!

i too had this problem. i dont get nose bleeds persay, but if i blew my nose, fresh blood would come out.

i think it may have something to do with humidity levels and frequency of blowing your nose.
