My old school has been hailed as the best school in Scotland ( Rebecca goes there too)

</a>I know its been over 20 years since I was there, but I am still rather chuffed over this as I enjoyed my secondary school years.
Sad thing about it is that it will be merging with another school in 3 years time.

Nice jackets!

Merging schools is very disruptive, but usually better in the long run. Our school which is a regional school (multiple towns), recently had one town leave the school. It took 5 years to settle legal issues (staff and money) and get back to business.

My almamater merged with two local schools. They had tons of legal issues. Tons of headaches with the new high school building. Law suits all over the place.....

I am waiting to see what improvements are suppose to come for the kids. Its been 5 years since things were finalized & its like it just started.
